Nehemiah Project For Hope

International Women's Day Gala
In March 2014, Nehemiah Project Haiti (NPH) proudly introduced the International Women’s Day Gala, a signature celebration honoring the strength, resilience, and impact of women within our community. What began as an intimate gathering of just over 35 attendees has, over the years, blossomed into an anticipated annual rendezvous—now welcoming more than 300 guests and growing.
To date, we have had the distinct honor of recognizing over 130 Haitian and Haitian-American women, affectionately known in our culture as Fanm Vanyan—courageous women. These honorees represent all walks of life, across generations. They include women with advanced degrees and distinguished professions, as well as women whose contributions may not be defined by formal education, yet whose sacrifices and tireless labor—our beloved "Madan Saras"—have built families, communities, and legacies.
We take great pride in uplifting and celebrating the invaluable contributions of these women, both within the Haitian diaspora and throughout Haiti itself.
The 12th Anniversary International Women’s Day Gala will be held on Saturday, March 7th, at the Cedars Center, located at 65 Rockwood Street, Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts.
We invite you to join us for an evening of elegance, reflection, and celebration.
